Our friend ELNA* finished his final project for Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, its a broadcast design for nike israel. He custom designed 3 pairs of the all time classic nike dunk and made a commercial video.
The 3 pairs and also the video is made with elnas unique style, bright colors and playful shapes.
The video is a mix of animated sequenzes and live shots. All perfectly edited and surrounded by fitting tunes from DJ Markey Funk.

Review: eye catcher – art fanzine by tarkinson
received a little letter the other day and found a sweet handmade art fanzine inside.
my old flickr street art fellow tarkinson made it and it looks pretty nice.
he did it the old cut and paste way and it came out great.
in the introduction he mentioned that he choose this way of doing it due to the fact he is very bad in graphicdesign. althought the layout looks decent and it has a graphical touch.
tarkinson put a lot of work in this zine and talked with a lot artists. there are interviews with J.C Torre from munich, the tattoo artist fide from berlin, artinf, kashone, the art collective “group of 10“, a interview with slurkle from stickerminions, something about Eep & Anthead from Theory Propaganda and of course a tiny interview with myself…talking about aurora.
nice graff by ack! from houston
this is ack!, he is from housten and got a lot intersting work up on his flickr. i really dig his style, clean lines and simple shapes. besides this he is a very nice guy.he is very busy and does a lot around houston.
furthermore he released several zines ( for example here, here or here ), shirts and other stuff. everything is pretty neat and well-/hand-made. check him out and support his art.

billikid vs. the world

He is known as the one that pastes the biggest combos around the globe. most stickerartists traded with him to get their work on noticable collabs in the streets of new york city,
but besides his huge combos he is sticking, he is also a very creative guy and is doing a lot design and street art in his sparetime.
In Collabs We Trust [8 people from 8 countries love collabs]
The collab visible on the left side was made during one weekend in autumn 2008 and included 8 great artists, from 8 countries all over the world. All of these 8 guys are really different, but they have one important thing in common. art! and so they found each other.
This collab is a great example for a amusement many designers put their time and creative energy in. Just type “collab” in the flickr search field and you get thousands of results.
