Around 3 month of trying to find out what happend with the AURORA flickr account.
no comment or answer from flickr. nice!

anyway. i sorted some things out and decided to continue AURORA with a new t-shirt collection around may/june. i hope that i can afford 4-6 designs. some made by myself and also really great designs from different artists.
besides this i focus on bike related stuff. maybe i’m going to release some shirts with fixed gear designs aswell. i’m planning on sewing my own cycling hats. so stay tuned for this. i try to upload some impressions soon…

not really a good start for the new year, since flickr deleted the aurora account for some strange reasons.
i emailed them and hope to receive a answer and get back the account pretty soon. for now i lost hundreds of important emails, all your kind comments on the aurora stuff i’ve uploaded so far and of course all the great contacts i made over flickr.

some of you are waiting for the second issue and i got most of the stuff i need to put it together.
in november/december i didn’t had the time and now, due to some problems with my car, i have no money to get it printed.

but i will try to work harder to get something done as soon as possible.
got some nice shirt designs from great artists aswell and i can’t wait to get them done.

i hope 2009 will be a good year for aurora and of course for you guys.

the vernissage of the “board art project” exhibition took place at the fyal cafe in münster and was a big success. around 400 people showed up at this evening and enjoyed sweet tunes, some beers and of course great art on skateboards.

“plankton stands for individuality and love.”
exactly what we like and so i made a deal with the two girls behind plankton. from now on you can find all aurora stuff (shirts, the artzine, stickerpacks and buttonsets) in the sweet little plankton store in dortmund. next to a lot handmade works by other artists and small companies, you will find the aurora items in a friendly ambience with a small exhibition space.

Finally its done!

The first issue of the AURORA Artzine contains two interviews,
one with Bytedust and one with Heiko Müller, a report about the Artpack Project,
a street art gallery, riot68, mildred, BilliKid Brand, Florian Bayer, i.am.doom and many more.

Every Artzine comes with a bunch of sticker and a nice set of street art cards, which are like postcards. Starting a collection of street art pictures to put on your bedroom walls or just to collect them.

The whole zine, except the cover, is in full color and advertisment free!
