The Basic idea of narration was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of O. M. Ungers “Galerie der Gegenwart”. Resultant permeabilty of the solid facade uncovers different interpretations of conception, geometry and aesthetics expressed through graphics and movement. Ich selbst bin seit längerem mit Rennrad/Fixed Gear unterwegs und bastele eben so gerne an entsprechenden Rädern herum. Es gibt einfach nichts besseres als mit einem leichten und wendigen Rad durch die Gegend zu fahren, alles hinter sich zu lassen und den Wind im Gesicht zu spüren. Immer mehr Leute entdecken klassische Rennräder für sich und auch der Fixed Gear Trend tut sein übrigens. Eine gute Entwicklung die nicht nur der Umwelt, sondern auch der Gesundheit gut tut.
Ich bastel viel herum und habe mittlerweile auch schon einige Anfragen bekommen und diverse Räder im Auftrag aufgebaut. Im folgenden ein paar Beispiele aus den letzten 2-3 Monaten.

the title sucks, but this short video is worth a look. its stop motion movie made by Charlie McCarthy with long exposure pictures from insects under a street light. never seen something like this. great idea and well made. the music by Telefon Tel Aviv (- What’s The Use Of Feet If We Haven’t Got Legs) fits perfectly and the cut makes it even more special.
