Aurora

received a little letter the other day and found a sweet handmade art fanzine inside.
my old flickr street art fellow tarkinson made it and it looks pretty nice.
he did it the old cut and paste way and it came out great.

in the introduction he mentioned that he choose this way of doing it due to the fact he is very bad in graphicdesign. althought the layout looks decent and it has a graphical touch.
tarkinson put a lot of work in this zine and talked with a lot artists. there are interviews with J.C Torre from munich, the tattoo artist fide from berlin, artinf, kashone, the art collective “group of 10“, a interview with slurkle from stickerminions, something about Eep & Anthead from Theory Propaganda and of course a tiny interview with myself…talking about aurora.

the fanzine is worth a read and you get a good inside view on artists toughts. the interview questions are well choosen…

the only sad thing about this kind of zine making is, that pictures are really crappy and the colorful graff images are just b/w  and not really showing their true beauty. however this is no reason for not trying it out, head over to tarkinsons flickr and get your copy. these are limited to 100 pieces and they are selling quick.

i will not post any detailed pictures of the content except the aurora interview pages, because you should better buy your own and support zine making.
